AGPT 2020 program applications now open

The Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program is an Australian Government-funded vocational training program for doctors who want to specialise as general practitioners.

Applications for the 2020 AGPT program are now open and close 10:00am Monday 29 April, 2019.

The AGPT Program selection process for 2019 is jointly led by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

For ACRRM selection queries, please email agpt@acrrm.org.au .

The Department of Health is responsible for assessing an applicant’s eligibility for the AGPT Program.
